Will Corrente – Fear is nothing more than a lack of faith in yourself to overcome the obstacle, circumstance, or challenge in your path. It is that flicker of doubt in your mind that grows into a flame, that you do not have the ability to “do it”. Whatever, “IT” is. In 2002, I faced a couple of my “IT’s”; the fear of the unknown and the fear of going it alone in a new and unfamiliar place.  Read the whole story at…

In 2001, I found myself working for a company in New York City. Although I considered myself a serial entrepreneur, I somehow drifted off track to the “safety” of a job and convinced myself I was on the right path. The events of 9/11 changed all that and in the months following, I was reinvigorated with thoughts of possibilities. I had seen first-hand the frailty of life and decided that when confronted with an “IT” circumstance I would make fear my ally and not my adversary.

During the entire economic downturn over the past 2 years, I have maintained the mental attitude that the end was near and prosperity was just ahead.  Unfortunately, my single thoughts and those of the few like minded individuals like me is not enough to turn the tide of negativity and raise our universal expectations.  Napoleon Hill refers in his book “Think & Grow Rich”  to the mastermind principle, he discusses how the thoughts of the group influence the success and prosperity of all.

Because of the power of universal intention and universal intelligence, when we collectively expect things will be getting better, then the power of the mastermind is tapped and dramatic changes and results will occur.

Many of you, like me are prosperity thinkers.  But unfortunately, we need the rest of society, in particular the media to start spreading the message that good times are ahead.  Good times don’t always last, but on the other hand, neither do bad times, so today I wish you to think prosperous and positive thoughts.

I have commented frequently to friends and colleagues that the recession will be over when the media starts telling us it is over.  Hopefully today’s article will begin to shed light to the millions of people out there who need to start thinking thoughts of hope, prosperity, abundance and brighter future.  Starting today, I hope they start seeing the possibility of living a POWER FULL LIFE.  The first signs of recovery are starting to show, hopefully the media will do its part and spread the word!

You have long heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  It gives your body the necessary fuel to get your day started and keep you going.  Just like our bodies, our mind needs a mental breakfast every morning as well.

What are your goals for your life today?  I’m not talking about tasks that need to be accomplished.  Instead, I am talking about how you want to live your life this day.  Is today going to be a day of peace, expectancy, joy and prosperity?  Or is today going to be another rushing world wind lacking direction and focus?

Every morning, I give myself a mental breakfast. I repeat a few affirmations to myself about what I expect my day to be like and how I intend to live it.  I set the tone for myself that regardless what this day brings, regardless of what I accomplish, regardless of what victories or defeats.  I start this day expecting the best.

To give you an example, here is one of my daily affirmations is ” today is a great day, I am on the path of greatness, I look forward to using today to positively impact my life and the lives of those around me”.

Another effective method I have found is to ask myself open ended questions.  In one of Tony Robbins books, he explains the key to a better attitude is to ask ourselves better questions.  A great daily affirmation question I ask myself each morning is “what can I do today to fill my life with peace, joy and prosperity?”.  I do not try and answer it, instead I let my subconscious mind mull it over through out the day.

Start your day with a mental breakfast and see what a difference it can make in the success of your day.
